Linea pants

Black denim Linea pant
The design for these pants comes from an old Mary Quant pattern, circa early 70's.  I first made them in the 90's and (seriously!) have been wearing them as my main style of pants ever since.  I make them in denim for jeans, in linen, in cotton sateen.

The thing about these pants is, they look awesome.  They're fitted around the body and then fall pretty straight from the hip.

These pants can be worn in a close fit or a looser fit.  For a close fit choose measurements closest to your own and go up a size for a looser fit. For example, my hip measurement is 112cm, size 14 is pretty tight, so I prefer the fit of the 16.  That's what I'm wearing in the pics.  As all the waistband options are somewhat flexible the hip is the best measurement to choose from.

Size 10 - Hip at widest 102cm
Size 12 - Hip at widest 106cm
Size 14 - Hip at widest 112cm
Size 16 - Hip at widest 116cm
Size 18 - Hip at widest 122cm
Size 20 - Hip at widest 128cm

These pants are great for custom orders.  You can specify fabric, length, pockets, fit and waistband style.

Lighter weight fabrics have a cotton lycra waistband and heavier weight fabrics have a higher waist and fold down cotton lycra waistband.  I've recently changed my waistband cotton lycra to a heavier grade which means it holds its elasticity for much longer.
