Black denim Linea pant
The design for these pants comes from an old Mary Quant pattern, circa early 70's. I first made them in the 90's and (seriously!) have been wearing them as my main style of pants ever since. I make them in denim for jeans, in linen, in cotton sateen.
The thing about these pants is, they look awesome. They're fitted around the body and then fall pretty straight from the hip.

Size 10 - Hip at widest 102cm
Size 12 - Hip at widest 106cm
Size 14 - Hip at widest 112cm
Size 16 - Hip at widest 116cm
Size 18 - Hip at widest 122cm
Size 20 - Hip at widest 128cm
These pants are great for custom orders. You can specify fabric, length, pockets, fit and waistband style.
Lighter weight fabrics have a cotton lycra waistband and heavier weight fabrics have a higher waist and fold down cotton lycra waistband. I've recently changed my waistband cotton lycra to a heavier grade which means it holds its elasticity for much longer.

Blue and Grey stripe linen Day dress
This dress works best either loose all over or fitted at the bust. I wear the fitted at bust version. There are four standard sizes. The measurements are of the actual pattern. For the fitted at the bust version, you would want your bust measurement to be the same or slightly less than the pattern. Your Waist and hip measurement should be less than the pattern measurement.
For example, I wear a size 3, my measurements are bust 115cm, waist 96cm, hip 109cm. Because we are all different sizes I make this dress a lot as a custom fit. You supply your measurements and I adjust the pattern as needed.
Standard length from shoulder down the side seam is 98cm.

The cotton lycra version comes in Navy, red, green. wine, wine and grey fine stripe, flowers, and of course, black.
Navy Cut-out Day dress
Red Cut-out Day dress
I've recently (only this year!) embraced the cut-out shoulder. I really like the way it allows the body of a top or dress to be loose without having gaping armholes. I find that the air circulates well and it's a really cool option for summer dressing. I like the way it sits on my ample arm ;), and it looks kind of elegant too.

You can order any length you like, this one's about 85cm. The best way to measure the length you'd like is to measure from the top of your shoulder, down over the bust to your preferred hemline.
I am always happy to help you work out measurements and fit!

There's a new waistband on the Betiko rack. Its comfortable, flexible and looks great on. The front of the band is lined fabric that scoops just below the belly button. The back of the waistband is very stretchy cotton lycra. Threaded through the cotton lycra is button hole elastic, with a button sewn on. This ensures the top of the waistband is the right fit, not too loose, not too tight and will stay up. It can be easily adjusted though a small hole, so it will fit everyone well! How cool is that!
